Bio & Mission

When I began producing brand films, I relied so many times on my gut. But, success felt like capturing lightning in a bottle. One story would click with audiences. Another wouldn’t. Why? I needed to understand better.

 

So, I took a fresh look at my film school training. I researched the neuroscience of emotion, attention and story. And I analyzed winning Cannes, SABRE, and Emmy branded campaigns. I distilled all that knowledge and wisdom into some simple concepts that form the basis of the courses I teach.

 

I’ve worked with iconic brands such as: Heineken, Lysol, Microsoft, KPMG, Moody’s, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Celebrity Cruises, Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Bank of America, The Hartford, Almond Breeze, KFC, GoGoSqueez, Nivea Men, Sonicare, Philips Avent, Norelco, PPG, Merial, Amgen, Eli Lily, Chevrolet and GM.

Nothing beats the rush I feel when I witness the proverbial lightbulb moment... as when I sense that a concept I’ve shared hits home with a student. Or an insight spins the creative wheels. That feeling energizes me.

  • What’s included in the class?
    Each class is 45-minutes long and is accompanied by a workbook and recording of the class (sent after the class).
  • Do you offer group or in-person classes?
    Yes! Group and in-person classes work great. They can be more workshop-y in nature or customized to a particular product, campaign, or industry, if desired.   • What if I can’t attend the live class?
    Register as you normally would. We know life happens (or you just need to sleep in). You’ll always get a recording of the class that’s available to watch for 48 hours after the class.
